In The Garden

In the Garden I have planted some Garlic [a bit early] and some Sweet Peas [a bit late]  The Jacaranda trees I have grown from seed have been re-potted.  I hope they survive the Winter, because they all have good homes to go to.

Post & Rail Fence Table Runner

I have just finished this Table Runner as a gift. The Post and Rail Fence is a great block, quick to piece and easily adaptable to any size quilt. Its success is in the choice of fabrics and their placement.

These fabrics are from Spotlight.

In The Garden

It is raining again, but we have had a few warm days. Autumn is here and the Crab Apple has been very colourful.

There are still a few roses about.

Katherine

Everything has grown really well this year because of all the rain and the grass has stayed green. I'm not sure of the name of this plant mixed up in the ferns, but it is one of my favourites.

Quick Project

I have just finished making this carry bag for a gift. The pattern is from Australian Patchwork and Quilting magazine, Volume 9, Number 6. and the fabric is from Spotlight.

Family

Our beautiful married daughter lives about 2 1/2 hours away, but we get to see them quite often. She works with children and her lovely, sporty husband is a Primary School Teacher. Lucky grade sixers! Amy is very creative and productive with her craft interests.

I am very lucky that both our sons and their wonderful partners live not too far away and I get to see them often. Angus and Vicki have their own home and work locally. Angus is very skilled mechanically and Vicki is the creative talent of Nikolina's Florist and Gifts.

This is Angus & Vicki's new pup,  Crumpet.

Our younger son and his partner recently purchased a run down farm in the district and are working hard to improve it for their Stud Cattle. Tom works in the Dairy Industry and Nique is very talented and hard working Accountant.
