We returned home late last night after three weeks away. I haven't done much cooking for a while because we usually don't have much breakfast and make a salad roll for lunch when we are traveling. Dinner takes advantage of the very reasonably priced Pub and Club meals that are available. Well, we are on holiday! The garden was very wintery and I dug up some Jerusalem Artichokes and made soup. The recipe is from a Delia Smith Collection and uses carrots, celery and onion as well. I also made cheese, mustard and parsley scones to have with the soup. I think I have been out of the kitchen for too long.
