Back in the Office.
Our annual farm work of marking the lambs didn't go to plan this year. The family usually gather on Grand Final weekend to accomplish this essential part of raising our fat lambs for market. The weather beat us and it was left to the two farmers and me to get the job done during the week. It has been quite a while since I have actually taken part because usually I am feeding everyone. This year I came out of retirement and worked in the yards. After two very frantic days we have all the lambs done and the percentages are looking good. And despite the pressure, it's a pretty attractive workplace.
