Sturdy Carry Bag

I made this largish carry bag from 3 fat quarters and some calico for the lining. The fat quarters were a gift from Amy some time ago and I had always wanted to make a bag with them. Thanks to a timely reminder from  I remembered to use interfacing on this project and I now have a very sturdy tote for traveling.

  2. What a fantastic idea to use fat quarters (I'm always at a loss of what to do with my stash). Yes, interfacing rules! :)


Modern Baby Quilt

I finished this quilt in good time for a new arrival thinking it was a neutral pattern and colour scheme. It is a Disappearing Nine Patch B...
